Traces is an animation that explores the creative process that takes place in the studio, where daily work intertwines with the complexity of generating ideas.
Through repeated gestures, I analyze the materials at my disposal: paper, ink, and mark-making. The animation follows the thought that forms, composes, and decomposes on the sheet, transforming the reflection on the idea itself into the final work. The video does not represent a finished product, but the flow of the process: observation, choice, waiting. The work is thus born, in the dialogue between mind and hand, between intention and chance, between matter and vision.
